| Penicuik Family History Group Meet on Tuesdays 7.00pm to 9.00pm Thursdays 10.00am to 12.00noon Jackson Street Community Learning Centre. The purpose of the group is to research family history. Thanks to proceeds from a stall at ' Penicuik in the Park '; support from the Penicuik Community Education Association Board and help from Vivienne Wallace a lottery grant was gained for our group. This enabled us to purchase laptops and fiche readers. We continue to benefit from a close relationshp with Ann Agnew, tutor of the Family History Class. Our group is an ideal way for class members to follow on to. We are indebted to the late Morag Hollingdale who got the group up and running and continued to show an interest in us despite her illness.
